| Description: When I left my university teaching job about 17 years ago to join the design consultancy field in New Zealand, I did not realize how much I am going to miss the teaching and tutoring environment. My students were sad to see my departure, as they thought I was able to teach them the basic and also the in-depth built environmental design techniques (ie. Basic graphical design, technical drawings and architectural design including computer generated graphics and drawings) in such a simple and innovative way that they could go to the depth of the design knowledge easily. I miss my students too, as I am a born teacher who has been raised in a true teacher family. Since my joining to the private design consultancy field, I took active interest in mentoring and tutoring of my co-designers in work places as well as in the local design industry in New Zealand. At home I am now actively involved in teaching my daughter who is a Year 12 student in a reputed High School in Auckland and she is working hard to become an Architect in the future. My tutoring techniques are simple: - to make the design learning experience as fun as possible, and at the same time a really productive one to introduce the fascinating and creative design world to my students - to make it as visual as possible to teach complex design issues with easily understandable props, tools and graphics. I am definitely a creative and an innovative designer with sustainable design principles in the forefront. I have won a number of highest industry awards in New Zealand at the national level. My current interest includes Google Earth, Sketchup, digital photography and web design. I am a passionate tutor and teacher, who loves teaching.
