I am thoroughly familiar with all exam systems offered in NZ (NCEA, scholarship, IB, Cambridge), as well as the SAT / GRE exams. An amazing tutor and an amazing person as well. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she has a knack of making the incomprehensible seem easy. Thanks Ana!

Ana has a lovely teaching manner, she is very knowledgeable in how to solve statistical problems and explains things in a clear and calm way. I learnt a lot working with Ana and would highly recommend her to others!

[By Rod Honan]created: 17 Jun 2014
Ana was very patient and very knowledgeable. I provided some materials from Massey for her to look at prior to my first class and she reviewed them and provided relevant examples for me to practice. The lessons always went over time and Ana was always keen for me to carry on until she was satisfied I had the subject sorted, at no extra cost. Ana has a very easy going, friendly technique to tutoring and I am confident the lessons I had have done wonders to my results. If only I had gone to her in the beginning of the semester! A very highly recommended tutor.

Ana has vast knowledge and a great teaching manner which is clear and easy to understand. She managed to quickly clear up misunderstandings that our son had with his maths and has made herself available for further tutoring as is needed. I would highly recommend her

Anna is a great tutor and an awesome person. She is very patient, clear, and knows what she's talking about. She is very friendly and you can tell she cares about her students.

I'm a Massey University student and had to take a Statistics paper last semester. I was completely lost and Ana helped me to understand every single topic... she answered the millions of questions I had when I first saw her, and we even skyped for a couple of hours the night before my final exam!

I would definitely recommend Anna to any student struggling with maths or stats, or just anyone willing to learn more!

Major:
Subject:MathsLevel:All levels
Subject:ChemistryLevel:Secondary(Form 6-7)
Subject:PhysicsLevel:Secondary(Form 6-7)
Tutoring Experience:
I hav 4 years of experience tutoring in senior maths, physics and chemistry. I have tutored over 20 students in the recent two years in NCEA L2 maths, physics, chemistry; NCEA L3 Calculus, Statistics, Physics, chemistry; Cambridge maths and physics; Year 8 maths and science; Year 7 maths; and ESOL.

I hav a strong academic base in maths, physics and chemistry. I got NCEA Level 4 scholarship in Mathematics with Calculus, Statistics and Modelling, and Chemistry. In addition to that, I got top in Physics in both year 12 and year 13 in my high school.

So i'm very confident in tutoring physics, chemistry on both NCEA Level 2 and 3 basis; Calculus and Statistic on NCEA Level 3 basis; and maths (both NCEA Level 2 and Cambridge maths).

The method I use for tutoring would be giving handouts and notes with explanation, and answering any questions my students would have. I'm also capable of teaching beyond the school level since some people might aim for the scholarship level.

The place of tutoring is negotiable but preferrably in the city or mid Auckland. I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Mr Nelson my first tutoring went way better then expected to the point I learned how to balance an equation within thirty minutes of the lesson, like that you previously were a teacher to the point you understand where I'm coming from and you're also very motivating. Best tutor by far :)

Hi Mirko,

I would like to thank you for the time and effort you put into tutoring my daughter. Within a small period of time she was understanding conccepts she had previously found confusing and enjoying the subject of Physics a great deal more. The proof of your effectiveness however, was apparent in her end of year examination marks where she improved from the 60% mark range to over 80%. We thank you for your help and would be happy to recommend you to future students.
