Description:
Hi there!

I am a science graduate with 7 years of experience tutoring statistics, biology, psychology and data analysis.

I work with Secondary and university students (undergraduate and post-graduate) to help them achieve a deep understanding of their subjects.

My major goal as a tutor is to ensure that my students not only learn the facts required to pass their course, but also have a solid grasp on the concepts underlying the taught material.

For my students taking coursework, I provide support from the first steps of understanding the course curriculum, through preparing reports and essays, all the way to excelling in tests and exams. For students undertaking research projects, I also provide guidance through the research method - particularly experimental design and data analysis.

If this sounds like a match for you, please get in touch!
I look forward to hearing from you and having a chat about your academic goals :)

Tutor:Norina Bramke
Rating:rating (What's this?)
Gender:Female
Location:Wellington - Wellington City
Price Range:$30-40 per hour
Education Level:Graduate/Master Degree
Institute:Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich
Major:Art History (German Literature, Psychology)
Subject:GermanLevel:All levels
Subject:ArtLevel:All levels
Tutoring Experience:
I’m German native speaker and a Master of Arts graduate, who majored in Art History with an associate diploma of German Literature and Psychology. I've been teaching German to foreigners for the last years non-stop - in person or online.
Mostly I've been teaching lots of private lessons, where I can focus on the weak points of my student. In a group this can be difficult to address and I find private classes very beneficial and effective for the student.
I do teach group classes as well and will teach a course at the Goethe Institute in the next weeks. Currently I'm teaching German online (one-on-one and small group classes) and private lessons in person.
If you struggle with the understanding of the basics or German grammar or if you look for someone who can help you to improve your communication skills, please get in touch with me. I aim to create a lesson the student fully enjoys, where he/she feels free to make mistakes, asks questions, finds the logic in German grammar and maybe even have a laugh.
I'm a passionate teacher and teaching the basics to a beginner is as enjoyable as improving the communication skills of advanced students.

Location:Auckland - Auckland City
Price Range:$10-20 per hour
Education Level:Bachelor Degree
Institute:University of Auckland
Major:Psychology
Subject:EnglishLevel:University(Year 3)
Subject:PsychologyLevel:University(Year 2)
Tutoring Experience:
Although I do not possess direct experience as a tutor under any institute, I have had many experiences teaching my classmates and have received many positive feedback.
Description:
I am currently studying in the Faculty of Education for my Master of Social Work (Professional) degree in the University of Auckland. Though my Masters is not directly related to tutoring but it is relevant in the sense that my profession involves guidance and education.
I have graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Psychology. I am able to tutor any students that need help for stage 1 and stage 2 psychology. I can do stage 3 but I am not particularly keen on tutoring for that. However, if there are question I will try my best to answer them.
I am born in Malaysia and have had used english as my dominant language for more than 15 years now. Coming from a multicultural nation, I am culturally competent and multilingual. I can converse in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Bahasa Melayu and Korean. My main objective is to teach and guide immigrants from Korea, China, and Malaysia, in improving their English level to cope with either the language school, foundation or university. However, I am also accepting of students from any other cultural background if they do not mind that I cannot translate to their language.
My teaching style is organized, and adapted to the student's preferred style. So the more I know the student, the more I can find out what works best.
I am able to meet up anywhere within the city for lessons. I can travel outside the city but that will depend on time and distance, as I still have classes to attend for my Masters.
My aim is to help students achieve the best they can given what they have. I do not charge alot as I do not have any recognizable tutoring experience. However, one may find it money worth spending on if they give me a chance.
Email me if there are any questions. I am friendly and approachable.
