- When I tutor, I usually show the method first then explain step by step and let the tutee try and then to a couple of exercises to make sure he or she has fully understood
Another way I tutor is by firstly asking the tutee to try to see how much she/he already knows. I will try also to do regular quizzes/revisions to make sure the tutee has integrated the information (if he/she wants)
- I love helping so when tutoring (or if you realise you don't remember/understand anymore once the session is over), don't hesitate to ask as many questions as you have (face to face, via text, email...)
- I can definitely help with homework (not do it for you but really really really guide you as well as I possibly can!) and to study for exams

As a big brother to my two younger sisters it was almost required of me to help out whenever I was needed. In that regard I have experience as a tutor for nearly 10 years but more recently I was employed as an "In-class tutor" for the Niagara District Catholic School Board. For nearly 5 months (Jan-May 2010) I helped students from grades K-8 with learning and behavioral barriers. I would aid in homework assignments and reinforce learning practices. As I have said above, I was employed by an actual school board back in Canada for nearly half of a year. I work primarily in English and my style very simple; reinforce lessons and advance thought. I am very willing help with homework assignments but also willing to create my own lessons to really help students grasp what they wish to learn.
